Hall's Exhibition Foundation

The Hall's Exhibition Foundation is a charitable trust set up after the closure of the Hall's Grammar School that used to stand on the upper slope of what is now the Kenside Estate.

It's aim is to assist in the education of young persons of Snettisham, between the ages of 11 and 25 and who have been resident in the village for at least 1 year, by making available grants at different stages of their education.

Children moving from Primary to Secondary should receive their forms from their local school in June." The rest is unchanged.

Although the major amount of money granted is for individual persons grants are also made to groups, providing that the money is used to benefit those in the age range stated above.

All grants are awarded at the consent of the 10 trustees who manage the Foundation.

The funding of the grants does not come from a limitless pot but is funded from the interest earned on invested capital and on money earned from the quarry in the village.

If you have children starting Primary, Secondary School, Sixth Form or University or feel that you might be eligible for a grant for some other activity, then please contact the administrator.
