The Governors are responsible for managing the Foundation’s assets and for allocating income They are committed to ensure that all young people aged between 11 and 25 who are fully resident in Snettisham and who have lived in the village for at least one year, and who qualify, should receive help from the Foundation.

Each year the individual grants are re-assessed in view of the changes that have taken place in the assessment of loans that are available from the local education authority.
All students attending Higher Education courses will be deemed independent of parental support and will be eligible for the full grant. This grant will be awarded in two stages. Half will be awarded at the start of their year and the second half, on the successful completion of their academic year in June.

A 16/17 year old apprentice will be awarded one grant of £500 pa rising to £1000 pa from aged 18

Mick George (the lessees of Snettisham Quarry) continue working at the Quarry and extracting carrstone from adjoining Ken Hill land.
The radio mast is still in use on Quarry land.
If your child lives within Snettisham, they could be entitled to a Hall’s Foundation Grant for support with their studies. Grants are awarded to students moving to secondary school at aged 11+ through to aged 25 for those attending University or undertaking other Further Education training or apprenticeships. Grants can also be applied for support towards the cost of Educational Trips.
